Sykkuno returns to streaming after cheating drama and relationship recovery

Popular streamer Sykkuno has officially returned to streaming on Wednesday night, June 3, nearly two months after taking a break following his admission that he cheated on his girlfriend.

During his comeback stream on Twitch, Sykkuno addressed his absence and shared an update on his personal life, saying he spent his time away working on himself and trying to repair the damage caused by his actions.

“While I’ve been gone, I was working on myself and repairing the damage I’ve done to my girlfriend and our relationship. What I did to her was horrible. I regret doing it so much and the time I’ve been gone, I’ve been working every single day to try to make things better.”

Sykkuno revealed in his return Twitch stream that both he and his girlfriend have made significant progress since the controversy erupted in April this year.

“I’m glad to share that while not everything’s perfect but made a lot of improvements and we can confidently say that we’re doing a lot better. We’re in a position where we can be happy together and we’re headed in a good direction. I wouldn’t be coming back to streaming if both of us didn’t feel that way,” he said.

The streamer added that the experience had changed him considerably and helped him grow on a personal level. “With everything that happened, a lot has changed. And I think I’ve grown a lot from it in so many ways.”

Sykkuno thanked his viewers and fellow content creators who continued supporting him during his break, and added that his streaming content will largely remain unchanged moving forward.

“(My) streaming will still be what it’s mostly about, which is playing games and hopefully having a good time.”

Sykkuno is one of the most recognizable personalities in online gaming and livestreaming. Known for his calm demeanor, shy personality, and family-friendly image, he built a massive following through games such as VALORANT, Minecraft, and Among Us.

For much of his career, he was widely viewed as one of the least controversial figures in the streaming industry. That reputation made the allegations and subsequent admission particularly shocking for many fans, turning the story into one of the biggest controversies the streaming community has seen in 2026.

The controversy surrounding Sykkuno began on April 10, 2026 when VTuber HemomalVT published a lengthy document accusing the streamer of maintaining a long-term relationship while simultaneously leading multiple women on, and called him a “serial cheater, master manipulator and dangerous predator.” Over the following days, several women, including Lena, Dotty, Chysai, NamiKatsumi, and Leia publicly shared their own accounts involving the streamer.

A fake apology statement falsely attributed to Sykkuno circulated online, adding further confusion to the situation. Around the same time, reactions from prominent creators Valkyrae and Lilypichu, who helped kickstart Sykkuno’s streaming career, also began drawing attention.

The issue reached a turning point on April 16 when Sykkuno released a joint statement with his girlfriend. In the statement, he admitted to cheating, apologized for his actions, and announced an indefinite break from streaming.

His return stream on June 3 marks his first public appearance and major update since that streaming break announcement.
