Who is Sykkuno?

Thomas “Sykkuno” is one of the most recognizable names in streaming, known for his calm, “wholesome” and “shy” personality. He built his audience through games like VALORANT, Minecraft, and Among Us, and is closely associated with creators such as Valkyrae and Lilypichu.
For years, Sykkuno maintained a reputation as one of the least controversial figures in the space, making the current allegations all the more surprising to fans and the wider streaming community.
HemomalVT calls Sykkuno a ‘serial cheater, master manipulator and dangerous predator’
The controversy first erupted on April 10, 2026, when content creator HemomalVT published a detailed Google document compiling allegations about Sykkuno’s alleged behavior.
According to her, Sykkuno was involved with multiple smaller female creators while also being in a secret long-term relationship.
“Sykkuno is not the kind, soft-spoken character you see on stream. He is a serial cheater, liar, and manipulator who uses his status to get what he wants from as many women as possible, more specifically, ones who are smaller or up and coming content creators, knowing that he can take advantage of them,” HemomalVT said in the document.
She also detailed her own experience, describing what she called a “calculated pattern of love bombing and manipulation.” Her account led her to connect with another creator, Elfilea, who allegedly had a similar experience.
“Elfilea and I weren’t friends until I found out that he was cheating on his girlfriend, this is when we both got in contact with each other and shared our stories. She deserves the world.”
“Elfilea would talk to Sykkuno on and off, for the span of 5 years. During that time, she had absolutely no idea that he had a girlfriend in the 5 years that she had known him and on and off flirted with him anytime she would bring up the topic of his love life he would give the response of playing too many games and not going out enough to meet women to date.”
The document also referenced a voice recording, which HemomalVT claims is “where he explicitly admits to all his wrong-doings, everything.”
HemomalVT later clarified her usage of the term “predator” in succeeding post. “For everyone confused predator isn’t pedo. He preys on small female vtubers and lies to them and gives them half truths with the intention to have sexual interactions with them.”
More women come forward with their stories
Following the initial allegations, several other women shared their own experiences, further amplifying the situation. Among those who spoke out were Lena, Dotty, and NamiKatsumi.
Their accounts added to the growing narrative, with some alleging similar patterns of behavior. NamiKatsumi, in particular, described a meetup with Sykkuno and claimed he attempted to initiate a sexual encounter.
As more testimonies surfaced, the controversy shifted from a single accusation to a broader pattern being discussed across the community.
Fake apology post and streamer reactions
Amid the ongoing backlash, a supposed screenshot of Sykkuno’s Instagram story began circulating online. The post read: “I didn’t do anything wrong I was unhappy so I did what anyone in my position would do. sorry not sorry,”
However, the image was quickly flagged by community notes as a fake, confirming it had been edited and was not an actual statement from Sykkuno.
At the same time, fellow streamers began reacting, carefully. Valkyrae posted a brief message on X saying “Disappointing :(”, which many initially believed was directed at Sykkuno. She later clarified that posting it was a mistake, as it stirred significant speculation.
Lilypichu also shared a more reflective statement through an Instagram story, though without directly naming anyone: “I feel like I don’t really know who people truly are and it’s a lot to unpack. I try to believe in people but I’ve ended up disappointed so many times, I’m becoming more closed off.”
Leia shares her encounter with Sykkuno
The situation intensified further when Twitch streamer Leia spoke about her experience during a livestream, recalling a trip to EVO in Las Vegas where they stayed in the same hotel room.
“I don’t know, but I can’t remember, but he ends up hugging me. But then she pushes me to onto the bed from the hook. And we end up having sex. And I didn’t have it in me to tell them to stop. So I just let it happen.”
Leia also claimed she directly asked Sykkuno whether he was involved with multiple people, to which he allegedly said no.
Sykkuno admits to cheating and announces streaming break in joint statement with girlfriend
Sykkuno has finally broke his silence a week into the controversy, releasing a public apology and admitting to infidelity in a joint statement alongside his long-time girlfriend.
“I would like to apologize to everyone I have disappointed, most of all to my girlfriend. I am so sorry I put you through so much. I never want to make these mistakes again and hurt you and the people I care about,” he said.
Sykkuno went on to acknowledge allegations: “I was unfaithful and I own and fully admit to that. I lied to people and told them I was single, which I know is not right. I’m sorry to all of the people that I hurt by doing this.”
While taking responsibility, he also pushed back on some of the claims made by accusers, saying certain portrayals of him were inaccurate. He addressed the delay in his response as well, explaining that he and his girlfriend had already been working through the situation privately before it became public.
Sykkuno has also announced that he will be stepping away from streaming indefinitely to focus on self-improvement and repairing the relationship.

In the second half of the statement, Sykkuno’s girlfriend shared that her pain stemmed not only from the relationship itself, but also from how the situation was exposed publicly. She said she never wanted the matter to become public, and noted that she has not heard from the accusers since the story broke, feeling that her perspective had been overlooked.
“It was already hard enough trying to work through things in private, this has just added another layer of difficulty and stress on top of everything. It’s made it so much harder for me to cope.”
She added that she felt “mortified” seeing the controversy “put on full display and used for profit.”
Despite everything, she confirmed that she has chosen to stay with Sykkuno, pointing to changes already happening in their relationship and expressing hope that things can be repaired.
“Even though all of the things I’ve learned are incredibly disappointing and shocking, I don’t think they are irredeemable. It’s been hard handling things unfolding this way, but I believe this will be a step in the right direction.”
“With time, I hope everyone can focus on healing and being better versions of themselves,” she concluded.
