Bihar began their campaign in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on a losing note as they went down to Chandigarh by 9 wickets in their Group B game in Mumbai on Monday.
Asked to bat first, Bihar did well to reach 171 for 6 thanks to opener Bipin Saurabh’s 46-ball 76 but the bowlers completely failed to trouble the Chandigarh batters as the opening pair of Manan Vohra and Arjun Azad stitched together a partnership of 159 runs to take the game away from Bihar.
