Riot police will join the search for a 54-year-old man who has been missing for more than three weeks in Sydney's south.
Zoran Popovski was last seen on Railway Parade, Hurstville, about 11:30am on Friday, April 14.
Police were called by the family a day after he failed to return home.
CCTV footage of Mr Popovski's last-known movements has been released, showing the 54-year-old man crossing President Avenue at the Princess Highway intersection at Kogarah about 12:40pm on the day he went missing.
Detectives have formed Strike Force Yaminbah and are appealing for information from the public, hoping someone from the area has seen the man.
"A land search of the Kogarah area will commence with assistance from the Public Order and Riot Squad," a police statement said.
"The land search will include the areas surrounding Cross Lane, French Street, Cross Street, and President Avenue, Kogarah."
Along with the riot squad, St George police homicide detectives have joined the search.
St George police Superintendent Rohan Cramsie said Mr Popovski's family was "distressed".
"They're hoping that Mr Popovski will walk through the door and explain to them where he has been," he said.
Superintendent Cramsie said the man had not contacted friends, family, or associates in more than three weeks, and his bank accounts have not been accessed.
"It's concerning, his family are concerned and they're after some answers and so are investigators."
Superintendent Cramsie confirmed Mr Popovski was known to police prior to his disappearance.
Mr Popovski is described as being of Caucasian appearance with an olive complexion, between 165cm and 170cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a dark shirt, dark pants, and possibly glasses.
