Sydney FC goalkeeper Jada Whyman equalled the A-League Women's clean sheet record as the competition pacesetters stretched their lead to seven points with a 3-0 home win over closest challenger Melbourne City.

Well-taken first-half goals from Paige Satchell and Rachel Lowe gave Sydney a deserved halftime lead at Netstrata Jubilee Oval on Saturday.
