Celtic got their season off to a significant winning start with a 2-1 win over Glasgow City at Petershill yesterday afternoon. Just how significant it may prove to be is too early to say and, certainly, Grant Scott was keen to stress that it is little more than one win.
But for a Celtic side who have toiled to get the better of any of their title rivals across recent seasons, it is a result that would suggest their summer work has been effective.
