Swift fancied for JE Hughes Trophy

Swift (Person) Pesi Shroff Mumbai

MUMBAI: Pesi Shroff schooled filly Swift looks good among 13 runners in the JE Hughes Trophy, a sprint for class two horses which is feature of the Pune Races to be held on Friday.

Swift, who is placed at the bottom of the scales, is expected to get a good challenge from young Deepesh Narredu-trained gelding Star Romance.

There are seven races on Friday with the first starting from 2pm.

1. Ismail Khan Plate (Div-2) 1400m: Fashion Icon 1, Adamas 2.

2. Bushtops Plate (1800m): Sea The Sun 1, Chat 2.

3. Classic Talk Plate (1000m): Racing Romance 1, Armoury 2.

4. JE Hughes Trophy (1200m): Swift 1, Star Romance 2.

5. P Hadow Trophy (1400m): It's My Time 1, Dexa 2.

6. Selfie Star Plate (1200m): Intense Belief 1, Sim Sim 2.

7. Ismail Khan Plate (Div-1) 1400m: Goldiva 1, Alpine Star 2.
