Mitchell Swepson made the most of some welcome overs with the Dukes ball before pumping up Queensland teammate Matthew Renshaw after Australia A's final tour game in New Zealand ended in a draw.

The Queensland legspinner took 3-85 in 18 overs with the hosts 3-174 after 42 overs when New Zealand A abandoned pursuit of the 374 needed for an unlikely win on Tuesday's final day.
