Animal welfare experts are appealing for a home for Phoebe, a sweet three-year-old lurcher currently staying at Dogs Trust West Calder.
Her carers say Phoebe is a gentle girl who enjoys life’s simple pleasures.
A spokeswoman added: “Whether zooming around the garden or snoozing in the sun, she loves being outside. Phoebe looks forward to her daily walks and enjoys exploring in quiet woodland spots where she can potter along and sniff interesting new smells.
“Phoebe is a real foodie who loves all kinds of treats and will sit nicely for a tasty snack. After a busy day exploring, she enjoys settling on the sofa where she can watch the world go by.
“As Phoebe is a shy girl, she would benefit from living with a calm family who can help her grow in confidence.
“Phoebe prefers the company of her human friends so would like to be walked in quiet areas where she is unlikely to meet unfamiliar dogs.
“As she loves being outdoors, she would like her new home to have a garden she can relax in. Phoebe would be an excellent companion for patient Lurcher lovers who can support her as she continues to blossom.”
