Sweet Edinburgh dogs with adorable friendship search for new home together

Two Edinburgh dogs are searching for a forever family that will be able to keep the best pals together, according to a new appeal.

The Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home have shared an adoption profile for the gorgeous pair, who are currently being housed at their shelter in the capital. Malcom and Baillie are thought to be around four years old, with the Cross Lab and Rottweiler pooches desperate to find a new home in the city.

Said to have a heartwarming friendship between the two of them, the EDCH are looking to keep the two of them together with a new owner. Described as "lovely boys who are very friendly", the dogs are also looking for an experienced owner who has previously had larger dogs, as well as someone who can spend a lot of time with them.

Speaking online, an appeal read: "Malcolm and Baillie are looking for an owner who has had a large breed dog in the past. They would like to be the only pets in a home with a private garden.

Malcom and Baillie (EDCH)

"They may suit living with kids aged 12 or more, and because they like having company, they would like an owner who can spend most of their day with them.

"Malcolm and Baillie are a lovely pair who are looking for a home together. They are both lovely boys who are very friendly and love everyone that they meet.

"They are very affectionate and enjoy getting cuddles, and even though they are too big, they would both love to be lap dogs. They love learning and using their brains, so enjoy puzzle toys. They are an energetic pair who enjoy long walks and running around, and would like hill walking or running with their owner."
