The number of MPs representing the North East is set to fall by two after the Boundary Commission for England (BCE) published its final report.
The number of Parliamentary constituencies in the region will be cut from 29 to 27 under the new proposals that have taken more two years to put together and finalise.
North Tyneside, North West Durham, Wansbeck and Tony Blair's former seat in Sedgefield will all cease to exist, while new constituencies will be created elsewhere to reflect population changes.
