While the USWNT remain one of the leading teams in the game, they have hardly covered themselves in glory thus far.

Draws against the Netherlands and Portugal in the group stage hardly lit the tournament up and perhaps their first knockout game could represent something of a changing of the guard.

Indeed, Sweden are ranked No.2 in the world rankings and have put both Argentina and Italy to the sword already.
