Drameh likely to stay at Leeds
Leeds United expect Cody Drameh to remain at the club beyond the summer transfer window.
Swansea showed an interest in the 20-year-old as part of their plans to recruit a new wing-back before the 11pm transfer deadline on Thursday, September 1. However, while keen to recruit players permanently, they were not in a position to sign Drameh full-time.
As a result, they enquired about the possibility of signing the defender on a season-long loan deal, although Jesse Marsch's men were not keen on that option. And a source close to the player has told WalesOnline that Leeds expect Drameh to remain at Elland Road this summer.
It means Swansea remain in the market for a wing-back with just four weeks left to go in the transfer market.
Rovers dealt defensive blows
Blackburn Rovers will be without Hayden Carter for their trip to Swansea this weekend.
The defender sustained a hamstring injury during a training session and missed his side's opening day win over Queens Park Rangers last weekend. And Jon Dahl Tomasson will be without Carter when his side travel to south Wales on Saturday.
Sam Barnes is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a serious knee injury in training. It means he will not be available for selection against the Swans.
New signings Tyler Morton and Sammie Szmodics are both eligible to feature, as is Callum Brittain who made his debut for Blackburn against QPR last time out following his summer transfer from Barnsley.
Kick-off on Saturday is at 3pm.

Ladies can enjoy another big season
Lucy Finch believes Swansea City Ladies can enjoy another memorable campaign.
The former West Bromwich Albion ace joined the Swans from Cardiff Met this summer and is confident that Jon Beale’s side can be a real force once again in the 2022/23 season.
“I like the direction the club is going in. Winning the league consecutively, I want a bit of the action,” she told the club website. “I set myself high standards so with the additional ambition of the club, that works really well for me. Standards are there in training.
“The training is similar to what I’m used to, but what I like about being here is that week in and week out there’s real focus. That gives you more of an understanding of where the club’s going and what the focus needs to be on.
“The girls have been welcoming throughout training, so it’s been easy to settle in. I feel like I’ve been here for years to be honest with you. It helps that I knew some of the girls before coming here, but it’s been really easy to settle in.”
