Here's your round-up of all the latest Swansea City headlines for Tuesday, June 6.
Piroe attracting Premier League interest
Swansea City striker Joel Piroe could be poised for a summer exit, with several Premier League clubs currently monitoring his situation.
The forward has one year left on his remaining deal at the Swansea.com Stadium, and WalesOnline understands it's highly unlikely he will sign an extension.
The Dutchman is subsequently attracting interest from the top flight and elsewhere in the Championship, and is now highly likely to depart should Swansea receive an offer that meets their valuation.
It's not yet clear what sort of package would be required to prise Piroe away from south Wales, and there isn't believed to be anything in terms of a concrete offer from anyone at this stage.
Indeed, the 23-year-old could yet end up staying at the Swans and leaving for free at the end of next term, although the club would clearly prefer to cash in if possible.
Piroe was widely expected to leave this time last year after netting 24 goals in his first season as a Swansea player.
However, despite rumoured interest from Leicester City, he stayed on, and was on hand to net another 20 goals last term.
Rangers tipped to move on from Whittaker
Former Rangers right-back Alan Hutton says the Scottish giants will soon have to consider ending their pursuit of Swansea City forward Morgan Whittaker.
Gers boss Michael Beale is a huge admirer of the 22-year-old, having had three bids turned down back in January.
Reports in Scotland have now suggested he could be weighing up a fresh approach this summer, although the departure of Russell Martin could get in the way of any potential sale.
It means Rangers may have to bide their time should they wish to revive their interest, and Hutton believes it could soon be time for his ex-employers to switch their attention to other targets.
He told Football Insider: “If you are talking about putting in three, four or five offers and they are all getting rejected, there needs to come a stage where the player gets involved. They need to say what move they want and force the club’s hand a little bit.
“I think he is better on the right, coming in on the left, so there is still going to be room there to bring in another striker.
“I think they need a couple of forward players in and the likes of Scott Wright, these guys might not be there next season. So there is a lot of gaps to fill.“
Bryan poised for move abroad
Bristol City have reportedly given up their hopes of bringing Joe Bryan back to Ashton Gate this summer, with the left-back believed to be keen on continuing his career overseas.
Bryan, who's set to be released by Fulham at the end of the month following his loan spell at Nice, was the subject of interest from a number of Championship clubs this summer, including Swansea City. However, he was widely expected to complete an emotional return to Ashton Gate.
Now, BristolLive claim the prospect of a move abroad, including interest from America, has caused them to move on to other targets.
Another friendly confirmed
Swansea City have confirmed their third pre-season fixture of the summer.
The Swans are set to host Bristol Rovers at the Swansea.com Stadium on Tuesday, July 25 for a 7pm kick-off.
The clash with the League One side comes four days before the Swans travel to Reading, and four days after their trip to the Kassam Stadium, where they will face Oxford United.
It's understood the club are also set to travel for an overseas training camp at some point this summer.
