Swansea City have completed the signing of Nathanael Ogbeta from Shrewsbury Town.
The left-back has joined Russell Martin's side on a permanent transfer for a fee believed to be in the region of £300,000.
He has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the club.
It comes as Liam Walsh has joined Championship rivals Hull City on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
The midfielder's exit played a part in reducing Swansea's wage bill which in turn aided their pursuit for 20-year-old Ogbeta - who was in Manchester City's academy.
Meanwhile, Jamie Paterson will remain at Swansea following fierce interest from Queens Park Rangers.
The Swans rejected a third bid from the Londoners for Paterson on deadline day.
Swansea return to league action against Luton Town on Tuesday night. Kick-off is at 7:45pm.
