Swansea City player ratings as substitutes make key difference and Wales international stands out at QPR

STEVEN BENDA 5

Untroubled until having to pick the ball out of his net after Jamal Lowe's opener but was good in possession. Picked up a back pass early in the second-half to give QPR a good chance from a free-kick. Subbed due to injury.

JOEL LATIBEAUDIERE 6

Some decent forays forward on the right and defended well enough too. Made plenty of defensive interventions.

HARRY DARLING 6

Always a threat from attacking set-pieces and was generally good on the ball, aside from a scare when dispossessed by Lowe in the first-half. Will feel he could have done better for the goal, mind. Didn't really help Benda with a back pass early in the second-half but made the block to keep out Ilias Chair's strike.

BEN CABANGO - Star Man 7

Made stacks of clearances while also making some timely blocks and tackles in what was a good display from the Welshman.

RYAN MANNING 7

Put in some good deliveries from corners and linked up well with Ollie Cooper on the left. Had a tough battle with former Swan Ethan Laird who was withdrawn due to injury, but, to his credit, the Irishman chipped in with a number of tackles and interceptions.

JAY FULTON 7

Couldn't really help Swansea dominate the midfield battle. Some better moments in the second-half and took his goal brilliantly to earn Swansea a point.

JOE ALLEN 6

An industrious display early on but found the going tougher as the game wore on and QPR got a grip on the game. Withdrawn.

MATT GRIMES 6

Did his share of defensive duties but couldn't really help spark his side into life in attack. Better moments in the second-half as Swansea pushed.

OLLIE COOPER 6

Caused QPR problems early on with his direct running and looked a threat from the left side. Tackled for fun, too.

JOEL PIROE 6

Had nothing in the way of chances and was largely helpless when it came bringing others into play given the endless long balls that came his way. In fairness, the Dutchman did very well from defensive set plays.

LIAM CULLEN 5

The striker threatened to cause problems on the left on numerous occasions but didn't always have the final ball required. Worked hard in a defensive capacity but had nothing to shout about in front of goal.

Subs

Luke Cundle (for Cullen) - Gave his side more of a threat in the final half an hour. Vital touch to tee up Fulton. 7

Olivier Ntcham (for Allen) - As above. Fired well over with a speculative volley and tested Seny Dieng late on. 7

Andy Fisher (for Benda) - Atoned for a sloppy pass by keeping out Jamal Lowe's strike. Lucky escape. 6
