Swansea City have confirmed the loan capture of Manchester City's Finley Burns.
The young centre-back joins them on a deal until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.
The 18-year-old will give head coach Russell Martin another option at the back, with Burns now set to compete with Ryan Bennett, Ben Cabango, Kyle Naughton, Joel Latibeaudiere and Ryan Manning for place in Swansea's starting XI.
Burns' signing has seen Brandon Cooper join Swindon Town on loan for the rest of the 2021/22 campaign.
"Fin is an outstanding young player. It enables one of our players to go out and play. Hopefully we will help develop Man City's player," said Martin after the 2-0 defeat to Hull City on Saturday.
"I think it's a really good fit for all parties. We're really excited to work with him, and we're really excited for Brandon who has been desperate to go out and play."
Swansea are still interested in a striker and a left wing-back before Monday night's 11pm deadline.
