Wales' biggest free family event is returning to Swansea after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The Wales Airshow will be back on Saturday, July 2 and Sunday, July 3 with a number of spectacular displays.
Among the aircraft taking part is the world-famous Red Arrows, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the hugely popular aerobatics team, Team Raven. As well as a weekend of outstanding entertainment in the sky, there will also be plenty to do on the ground with displays, food and drink trucks, live music, demonstrations, family activities, rides and more. The 2019 event saw more than 250,000 visitors attend the Airshow, and with so many people in attendance, planning your trip is paramount. Road closures are in place for the event from Friday, July 1 to Monday, July 4, you can read more about the Swansea Airshow road closures here, but what about parking?

Parking is available to book online until 5pm on Friday, July 1 for Saturday, July 2 parking, and until 5pm on Saturday, July 2 for Sunday, July 3 parking. Pay on the gate will then be available on the day, as well as two Park & Ride options.

Guildhall Rotunda (Brown car park) SA1 4PE (£20)

All tickets to park are subject to a 5% booking fee and can be booked by clicking here.
Pay on the day car parks
There will also be a number are car parks available for paying on arrival. These include:
Sketty Lane (Red car park) SA2 8QB (£10)
Singleton Hospital (Pink car park) SA2 8QG (£10)
Swansea University (Green car park) SA2 8PP (£20)
Other non-event city centre car parks are also available in the city.
Park and Ride
Two bespoke Park and Ride sites will operate all weekend catering exclusively for Wales Airshow visitors.
One service will run from the Swansea Bay Studios Car Park on Fabian Way (JNC42 M4) on the entrance to Swansea, dropping off and picking up at The Civic Centre.
While the Landore Park & Ride service will also be used all weekend. The service will run from the Landore Park and ride site on the A4217 (next to the Liberty Stadium), dropping off and picking up at The Civic Centre
