Dancing with the Stars finalist Suzanne Jackson has opened up about missing out on lifting the Glitterball trophy last Sunday, breaking her silence for the first time since the episode aired.
Jackson, who is an entrepreneur and influencer, missed out on the chance to lift the Glitterball trophy as 2FM star Carl Mullan was crowned the winner. She lost out on a chance at winning alongside Eurovision star Brooke Scullion, and actor and singer Damian McGinty.
Although the social media personality was away from posting on her usually active Instagram page after the results, she made a return on Tuesday to speak to her many fans.

She said: "Hello everybody. I am alive. People are messaging me going, ‘Are you ok? Is everything ok?’ Yes, I was absolutely exhausted yesterday. My body just crashed. It was a day I just needed to do nothing, put my phone on silent.
"I wasn’t feeling well yesterday morning at all, because we obviously had the after-party on Sunday night. But I just wanted to say a massive congratulations, of course, to Carl and Emily on winning Dancing with the Stars.
"Carl is so lovely, so funny. And Emily is a super teacher. I think she’s been doing Dancing with the Stars for six seasons, so well deserved. Congratulations to both of you."
Jackson added that she was so grateful for the experience even though she didn’t win as she thanked her fellow finalists.
"Commiserations to everyone else, including myself and Michael. Obviously, everyone wanted to lift the trophy but as I said already, I learned so much about myself, I was on an amazing journey, and it was the best experience I ever, ever had.
"The opportunity was put to me in October, I jumped on it with both hands, and I am so thankful that I went for it. It was honestly the best experience I ever had.
"I’ve won in so many other ways. I’ve learnt so much about dancing, I’ve met some amazing people. Michael, my teacher, is an absolute legend. I’ve absolutely loved getting to know him and we’ll be friends forever. I’m going to really miss him actually."
