Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is one step closer to returning to the court.
Green, who has missed Golden State’s last 10 games due to an indefinite suspension, will return to the Warriors’ facility in the “coming days,” according to ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski. He will then begin preparing to play again after the league clears him from the suspension.
Wojnarowski also reported conversations about when Green will be able to return are still ongoing in league circles.
Green was suspended indefinitely Dec. 13 after striking Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkić in the head during a game. It was his second suspension of the season, as Green previously served a five-game penalty for putting Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert in a headlock.
The Warriors have gone 6–4 in Green’s absence. They host the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night at Chase Center.
