A man was charged after several burglary offences and a sexual assault earlier this week.
At around 4.45am yesterday (Tuesday), police received a report that a man forced entry into a property in Crosby. It was reported that the man entered the victim’s bedroom armed with a knife and sexually assaulted her.
Peter Croft, 34, of Elmsfield Road, Crosby was charged with burglary, attempted burglary, robbery, sexual assault and possession of a knife earlier today (Wednesday) at Wirral Magistrates Court.

He was remanded into custody to appear on Wednesday, May 11.
