A suspect has been named after a driver gave a breath sample that was almost six times the legal limit.
Merseyside Police confirmed that the Roads Policing Unit charged a man with drink driving after a crash in West Derby on Sunday, August 7. Officers were called to a report of a collision on Queens Drive at around 4.45pm involving a blue Ford Fiesta, a silver Hyundai IONIQ and a silver Volvo.
Two drivers sustained minor injuries which didn't need hospital treatment. Kevin Satchell, 33, of Ruskin Street, Liverpool was arrested and later charged with drink driving. He was then denied bail and will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court today.

The Roads Policing Unit confirmed on its Twitter page that a driver at the scene recorded a "staggering" 198 roadside test, with the legal limit being 35.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "Officers from our Roads Policing Unit have charged a man with drink driving following an incident in West Derby on Sunday 7 August.
"At around 4.45pm, police were called to a report of a collision on Queens Drive involving a blue Ford Fiesta, a silver Hyundai IONIQ and a silver Volvo. Two drivers sustained minor injuries which did not require hospital treatment.
"Kevin Satchell, 33, of Ruskin Street, Liverpool was arrested and later charged with drink driving. He was denied bail and will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court later this afternoon."
