A man from Liverpool has been charged with Class A drug offences following a stop check in Runcorn.
Cheshire Police said Jay Patton, 22, of Granary Way, city centre, was arrested after being spotted by a proactive patrol on Windmill Avenue West in Windmill Hill. Patton was charged with two counts of possessing a Class A drug with intent to supply, namely crack cocaine and heroin.
He was remanded in custody to appear at North Cheshire Magistrates’ Court in Warrington on Wednesday. Court papers said the charges relate to 83 wraps of crack and 56 of heroin.

The alleged offences were reported to have taken place on Tuesday.
A force spokeswoman told the ECHO the suspect was on foot at the time of the stop check, which took place at 9.55am.
