Suspect named after £500,000 in cash seized

Police have named a man suspected of money laundering in Liverpool.

Anthony Kane was arrested, and later charged, after officers seized £500,000 in cash, high value watches, and a BB gun last Tuesday, October 11. The 41-year-old , of Allerton Road, Mossley Hill, will appear in court charged with a number of offences including conspiracy to conceal, disguise, convert, transfer or remove criminal property, mainly cash, wristwatches, pedal cycle and motor vehicles between 2018 and 2022.

Other charges within that four year timeframe include conspiracy to enter into or become concerned in an arrangement which he knows or suspects facilitates (by whatever means) the acquisition, retention, use or control of criminal property by or on behalf of another person criminal property including motor vehicles and wrist watches.
