Authorities have made a significant breakthrough in the investigation into the killing of UnitedHealthcare's CEO. According to NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny, the person of interest in the case was located at a McDonald's in Pennsylvania after an employee of the restaurant alerted the police.
The successful identification of the individual was attributed to the widespread circulation of a photo released by the NYPD last week. The image, which showed the person without a mask, played a crucial role in prompting a citizen in Pennsylvania to recognize the suspect and report their whereabouts to local law enforcement.
Chief Kenny expressed gratitude for the vigilant citizen who helped in locating the person of interest. He also mentioned that, based on the current stage of the investigation, there is no indication that the individual was attempting to flee the country.
