According to Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw, the incident unfolded when shots were fired by the US Secret Service, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
Upon receiving the alert at 1:30 p.m. ET, Sheriff Bradshaw's office quickly mobilized. A witness came forward with valuable information, stating that they had seen the suspect fleeing from the bushes and entering a black Nissan vehicle. The witness managed to capture a photo of the vehicle along with its license plate, which proved instrumental in tracking down the suspect.
