MONTEREY PARK: The search for the perpetrator of a mass shooting at a ballroom dance club in the Los Angeles area came to a close on Sunday when authorities found the 72-year-old suspect, Huu Can Tran, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the van he used to flee the scene.
Tran had killed 10 people and injured 10 more in the attack, which took place during a Lunar New Year celebration in the predominantly Asian American community of Monterey Park.
