SASKATOON — A man is due in court this morning on assault and breach of probation charges following an incident in Saskatoon last night.
Police were called to a home in the 2200 block of East Hill at around 11:00 p.m. for reports of a domestic disturbance.
Officers say when they arrived, they witnessed a man physically assaulting a woman on the street in front of the residence.
Police say when the man refused to listen to their commands, they used a taser to subdue him and take him into custody.
It was then discovered the suspect, who is believed to have been intoxicated at the time, had allegedly assaulted two other people inside the home.
The 36-year-old suspect faces three assault charges, and another count of breaching conditions of his probation order.
