Sushmita Sen recently opened up about being a part of a number of hit item songs over the years in her career. The actress recalled doing them at a time when other lead actors thought it was bad for their reputation.
Spilling some beans on the same, Sushmita told a news portal in a news interview that she is very proud of the fact that at a time when main lead actors said doing item numbers were bad for their reputation, she used to ask filmmakers to cast her. The actress also revealed that she had two of her managers leave her because she was saying yes to doing item numbers when they were trying to cast her in a full-fledged film. According to the actress, music is music and it will survive even a bad film.
