Susanna Reid tells Daniel Radcliffe 'don't be humble' as he refuses to agree with her

Susanna Reid tried her best to compliment Daniel Radcliffe on Thursday's Good Morning Britain, but he was having none of it.

The Harry Potter actor joined Susanna and her co-host Ben Shephard in the ITV studio to chat about his new movie, The Lost City, which also stars Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum.

At one point, Ben pointed out that Sandra had asked Daniel for his autograph for her sister because she is a huge Harry Potter fan.

"That's quite cool, right?" Ben commented, as Daniel replied: "Absolutely. It's weird, my mind is blown by the idea that that would impress anyone but it was very flattering."

"I know you don't want to get trapped in that role, but when you work with these actors and you talk about these actors and this status and profile, you are of that status and profile to those actors as well aren't you?" Susanna then asked Daniel.

"I don't know..." he responded as Susanna quickly chimed in: "Don't be humble about it, Daniel!"

"I just can't ever... like I've watched Sandra Bullock's movies my whole life, she's like an icon, I could never think of myself as being in that category, so that's very kind of you but I won't agree!" Daniel then said.

"Well we will put you in that category regardless," Ben told him, before adding: "I think the fact that they were as excited to work with you because of that legacy and because you're a great actor as well, is testament to that."

Ben then decided to grill Daniel on the possibility of him playing Wolverine in the future.

"I keep getting asked about it and always try and be like, 'no it's not happening, it's just a Twitter rumour', and everyone keeps taking that as confirmation, but it's just fan theory at the moment," Daniel said.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and ITV Hub.
