Good Morning Britain is notorious for giving members of parliament a grilling live on air.
And today was no different as the show followed on reaction s from the no confidence vote against Tory Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid welcomed on MP Brendan Clarke-Smith and later Deputy PM Dominic Raab as they struggled to defend the actions of Mr Johnson.
Comedian Rob Beckett made a later appearance on the show, due to talk about a lighter note of his new podcast and parenting. However, things quickly turned back to politics as he didn't hold back asking the ITV show's hosts how they cope with interviewing the MPs.

He said: "First of all, how do you put up with them politicians every day? Oh my god, they do my head in. They're absolute maggots!"
Susanna burst out laughing and became speechless as Rob continued. He said: "This is the worst bit, the fat little fist because they can't point."
He did an impression of a politician "pointing" as he rolled his hand up into a tight ball and waved it around. He added: "Pointing is too aggressive so it's like he's doing a pancake."
The comedian said: "Oh shut up, boring. Oh my god, sorry. I don't know how you cope." Richard replied: "You may say that but we couldn't possibly comment."
Rob went on to do an impression of the MPs as he put on a prim and proper voice. Susanna tried to explain where the politicians may be coming from. She said: "I think it's a new thing. It may have started with Tony Blair, that hand movement, for emphasis. You're right."
Richard added: "The thing is obviously the government are in a real sticky wicket this morning. We understand that. We know what they've got to say.
"At least he actually on the whole answered the questions. By and large on this programme they don't. What you do is ask 'how much is fish in the market at the moment?' and they'll say 'there's some wonderful steak out there that I want to talk about'." He added: "They think the public can't see them doing it."
The show went on to show Mr Raab side by side with Rob, showing that he actually had a very accurate impression of the "pointing" hand. Susanna was in stitches as Richard mentioned that they were running out of time without him actually discussing what he was on the show for.
Fans on Twitter absolutely loved the chat with Rob as they applauded him for saying exactly what he thought. Kellsey said: "Rob Beckett calling politicians maggots was the highlight of my morning #GMB #ToryBritain #NotMovingOn."
Ella said: "Rob Beckett got like a 30 second interview but used his time wisely to say politicians are maggots #gmb." Meanwhile, Em said: "Rob Beckett for PM #GMB."
