Susanna Reid had to act quick today on Good Morning Britain to avoid a wardrobe malfunction.
The ITV show host was joined by co-star Ed Balls as they presented the day's news. But just moments before the show began, Susanna, 52, was forced to take part in a "cover up".
As the show began she appeared in a bold red dress, pinned together by a silver brooch. But it appears the wardrobe department originally had other plans for her which had to be scrapped with just minutes to spare.

Applauding Susanna's professionalism and pointing to her brooch, Ed said: "It’s amazing what you can do, in terms of activity in an outfit, and still manage to emerge serene." Susanna laughed as she said: "What are you referring to?"
Then she realised and went on to offer an explanation to viewers. She said: "Oh yeah, I had a bit of an outfit, wardrobe crisis this morning.
"I put an outfit on that seemed to blend into the background, so the director with two minutes to spare said: 'Is there anything else in your wardrobe?' So, at two minutes to six, I nipped into the wardrobe, found this, didn’t realise it needed a bit more buttoning up."
Ed laughed as he said: "I’ve never ever read a news headline from the autocue while simultaneously trying to unzip you from the back. There was a team of eight!"
She quipped back as she said: "There wasn’t a team of eight. A team of one. It was a last minute cover-up job."
