Good Morning Britain viewers were left wondering where host Susanna Reid had disappeared to on Monday morning as Richard Madeley made his return to the ITV show panel alongside Ranvir Singh who was filling in for Susanna.
As Richard and Ranvir kicked off the show on Monday morning, they failed to share an explanation for Susanna's absence - leaving viewers questioning when the TV favourite would return.
In recent weeks, eagle-eyed viewers have continued to suggest that tension has been brewing between Susanna and Richard after the presenters appear to have bickered over several subjects recently including Love Island, and after Susanna labelled her co-host as 'cringe' during last week's show.
Earlier this month, feud rumours grew after the pair failed to pose together at the BAFTA Television Awards.
And after Susanna's absence on Monday morning's show, viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
"Where is Susanna? Feels weird that neither Richard or Ranvir explained where she is," one complained.
"Susanna might have finally had enough of Richard it seems," another echoed.
"I bet Susanna called in sick because she couldn't face anymore tiffs with Richard lol," someone else mocked.
A fourth tweeted: "Ranvir is looking great, but where is my Susanna?"
"She's probably on holiday guys. Everyone needs to calm down, she'll be back tomorrow I'm sure," someone else suggested.
Richard and Susanna have fronted Good Morning Britain together from Mondays to Wednesdays since last year.
Veteran broadcaster Richard 66, took over the job nine months after Piers Morgan sensationally quit the show following his controversial comments about Megan Markle.
Since then, he has been a permanent fixture on the ITV show.
Last week, Good Morning Britain viewers found themselves feeling 'awkward' after Susanna teased Richard about his age live on air.
The mother-of-three couldn't resist making a dig at Richard after he did the same to their colleague Charlotte Hawkins on the ITV breakfast show.
As Charlotte finished speaking about the Queen's birthday celebrations over the weekend, Richard turned to her and said: "Thank you birthday girl," before adding: "Not quite platinum!"
Looking taken aback, Charlotte replied: "No not yet, thanks very much Richard. A little way off I'd like to think!" referring to turning 47-years-old today.
Susanna then chimed in: "What about your birthday Richard? On Friday? Not quite platinum."
Looking defeated, Richard replied: "I was 66-years-old, alright, happy? I'm a pensioner, okay."
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and ITV Hub.
