Susanna Reid was left red-faced as her phone went off live on Good Morning Britain.
The presenter was helming the show today alongside Richard Madeley as they discussed the biggest topics of the day. When the ITV breakfast show returned from a break, Susanna was on her phone as she quickly put it down on the desk.
Addressing the camera, she continued to talk about the news that inflation was now at 10.1 per cent, but she was interrupted by her phone seemingly playing a video as she quickly turned it off and hid it under the desk as she carried on with the show.
As the programme returned from the break, Susanna spoke to the camera as she shared: "Good Morning Britain out, expecting to show inflation hit around 10 percent last month, in fact, they are just out. 10.1 percent."
When she continued to speak, the video seemed to drown out her voice as she quickly rushed to switch it off.
Her co-host Richard made a joke about her "getting it on the phone", before Susanna turned to the side and shut off her phone, telling the camera: "Sorry! I'll just turn that off!" as they continued with the show.
Earlier in the show, Susanna was forced to change the conversation over fears of Ofcom complaints.
The pair were discussing James Corden's apology to a restaurant owner, with Susanna saying it was "good on him" for apologising. His ban has since been removed, as Susanna added: "And he's no longer 86'd!"
"But why do they call it 86? We didn't get to the bottom of it," Richard then asked.
However, Susanna quickly changed the subject, insisting they shouldn't chat about it or risk the wrath of Ofcom, adding: "I have absolutely no idea and I daren't look it up because we might have said something we shouldn't have done under Ofcom regulations."
Susanna helms the show most weekdays alongside a number of different co-hosts. Richard Madeley is usually sat beside her on Mondays to Wednesdays, but the likes of Martin Lewis and Ben Shephard have also sat alongside her.
Her ITV colleague Lorraine Kelly said previously: "Now when you are presenting right now, it's a little bit like speed dating. There has been a fair few fellas," Lorraine asked, as Susanna joked back: "TV Tinder!"
