Susan Boyle and Peter Kay reunite after his 'hilariously brilliant show' in Glasgow

Singer Susan Boyle has reunited with Peter Kay after his show at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, as the pair reminisce 12 years on from their Comic Relief collaboration.

The 62-year-old nipped backstage after the comedian's performance on Saturday night, as she shared a picture of catching up alongside an old Comic Relief image.

The Scot singer was pictured side-by-side with Peter as they both appeared smiley after his "hilariously brilliant show".

Peter was smartly dressed in a black blazer and a light blue shirt as Susan wore a lovely tweed jacket and silver top, with pink painted nails and a heart necklace, reports the Daily Record.

Posting on social media, Susan said: "A reunion 12 years in the making! Susan Boyle & Peter Kay back together again after she went to see his hilariously brilliant show “Peter Kay Live” in Glasgow. How has it been 12 years since their Comic Relief video came out?!"

Peter was at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow for an extra date as part of his UK stand-up tour, as many fans had called for an extra night due to popular demand and tickets selling out fast.

Susan and Peter, as alter ego Geraldine McQueen, teamed up 12 years ago to sing ‘I Know Him So Well‘ during a surprise performance on the Red Nose Day extravaganza on BBC1. The pair hilariously spoofed the original video of the song, which was written by Tim Rice along with Abba's Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaes.

In recent years, Susan has appeared on BBC soap River City, first making a cameo in 2021 and more recently a special performance of ABBA’s ‘Thank You For The Music’ to mark the shows anniversary.
