What accents do Brits find the most attractive? A survey of 2,000 UK adults conducted by language learning platform Preply reveals the London accent is the one Brits think is the most romantic, with almost one-in-five people (17.89%) agreeing.
Liverpool secured the spot as the city with the second-most attractive accent with one-in-ten people (10.24%) falling for the Liverpudlian lilt, followed closely by Newcastle at (10.19%), and Leeds at 4.37%.

The London accent proved much more popular with women, with one in five (20.83%) finding it attractive, whereas under 15% (14.86%) of men said the same thing.
The Liverpool accent was the second-most romantic accent according to 10.97% of males and 9.53% of females. Men and women seemed much more aligned when it comes to the Liverpudlian accent, with one-in-ten men (10.97%) and women (9.53%) saying they found it attractive.
Taking third place as one of the most attractive UK accents was Newcastle, with 11.67% of males and 8.74% of females in agreement that the Geordie brogue was for them.
