The Supreme Court recently made a decision to deny a request from former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be included on New York's presidential ballot. This decision comes after Kennedy suspended his campaign last month and publicly endorsed former President Donald Trump.
In his emergency appeal to the high court, Kennedy argued that voters who had signed petitions in support of his candidacy should have the right to vote for him, regardless of his campaign status. However, state election officials cited an invalid address on Kennedy's nominating petition as the reason for excluding his name from the ballot.
