Supreme Court grants interim bail to Asaram Bapu on medical ground

Asaram Bapu gets interim bail

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday granted interim bail to self-proclaimed godman Asaram Bapu on the medical ground till March end in 2013 rape case.

Released on interim bail
A bench of Justices MM Sundresh and Rajesh Bindal directed that Asaram shall not attempt to tamper with the evidence, and shall not meet his followers after he is released on interim bail.
