Leeds United fans have hailed Tyler Adams as a future captain of the club after he was handed the USA armband for the World Cup. Adams has been voted for by his international teammates to lead his country in Qatar and is set to be the youngest US captain at the tournament since 1950.
His appointment will come as no surprise to Leeds fans as he has already shown in his first few months in a white shirt he is very much captain material. Liam Cooper is the man currently with the armband at Elland Road but at 31, it won't be too long before it is time for a replacement.
But first of all, it will be his nation that he leads out starting with Monday's match against Wales. Here is how both Leeds and USA fans have been reacting to the decision to make him captain.
