A supermarket giant is on the hunt for an Ayrshire location – and will pay a finder's fee of more than £22,000 to whoever pops up with a suitable selection.
Lidl will offer the money to anyone who finds an appropriate site in Ayr South, Cumnock, Irvine, Kilmarnock and Largs.
The fee will be either 1.5 per cent of the total freehold purchase price or 10 per cent of the first year’s rent for leaseholds, which would equate to £22,500 for a completed £1.5m site purchase.
