A supercomputer has attempted to predict Everton’s final Premier League position for this season.
The Blues are battling to avoid relegation from the top flight currently sit in 15th place in the table. That comes after Sean Dyche’s side drew 2-2 at Chelsea at the weekend to extend their unbeaten run in the league to three matches.
But while Everton are two points above the relegation zone, they have played more matches than Nottingham Forest, Leicester City, West Ham United and Bournemouth, who are all just below them in the Premier League table.

The Blues have 10 fixtures left this season to ensure their top-flight status for the next campaign.
And respected statistics and analysis website FiveThirtyEight has forecast the final standings in the Premier League, based on a complex model that takes into account a host of factors. They have crunched their numbers and have predicted that Everton will avoid relegation.
According to their prediction, the Blues will finish in 17th place and just one place outside the bottom three. They will apparently finish with 36 points, just one above 18th-placed Bournemouth.
The Cherries are joined by Forest and Southampton in being the three clubs tipped to be relegated to the Championship. Should this prediction come true, it would see Everton finish with three fewer points than last season.
The prediction goes a step further by giving the Blues a 40% chance of being relegated. But crucially, all of Bournemouth (54%), Forest (56%) and Southampton (68%) are more likely to drop down to the Championship.
