'Super sexy' Patsy Kensit has fans in disbelief as she wears £1,500 Kate Middleton dress on The One Show

She quickly made a big impact on EastEnders playing Lola Pearce's estranged biological mum, and Patsy Kensit sent fans into a frenzy as she appeared on The One Show sofa. Patsy, 55, looked incredible as she took her seat on the famous chat show sofa in an emerald green sparkly dress with ruffle detail sleeves and hem.

The actress gushed about joining the soap as an EastEnders 'superfan'. Her feisty character Emma Harding arrived on screens in January after Billy Mitchell embarked on a quest to find granddaughter Lola's mother ahead of her wedding to Jay Brown.

Emma learned of daughter Lola's incurable brain tumour after arriving in Albert Square and was determined to make the most of their time together. But the pair got off to a rocky start after Lola, played by Danielle Harold, realised her long-lost mum had been posing as a client at the beauty salon where she works, leaving wads of cash and had been scaring away a bully targeting Lola's daughter Lexi at school.

Emma recently turned up again after exchanging messages with 10-year-old Lexi, and fans of the BBC One soap suspect she's up to no good. Patsy said that as a superfan she was 'terrified' to join her favourite soap and was particularly overcome by the first time she saw Phil Mitchell, played by Steve McFadden.

She joked about the cold temperature on set, saying it has a "different thermostat from the rest of Great Britain." And she added: "It's freezing." But Patsy said the crew look after them all, providing "hot water bottles and warm-up coats."

Patsy, who said she previously went for another role in the show but didn't get it, teased what's to come. "She wants to come betwen Lola and Jay and cause trouble. It drives a wedge between pair of them and it all unfolds," she said.

She appeared to hint that this might be the last we've seen of Emma as she said about her castmates: "I miss them all and I'm so proud to have been on the show."

Fans are keen to see Emma stay on Albert Square with @BVetigo messaging The One Show: "Will Emma be a permanent character and move to Albert Square?" @Shane1988David asked: How long will be on Eastenders for? x" And @suzysasha tweeted: "Love Patsy. She looks stunning! So glad she's now on @bbceastenders. Hope they keep her character after Lola dies."

The compliments came pouring in over her divine dress as fans were floored by the ageless star. @AngelaBostock1 said: "Pasty Kensit just doesn't age still looks so beautiful." And @Tootingsfinest agreed: "Patsy Kensit looks great on #TheOneShow."

@PoseidonsDream7 exclaimed: "Patsy Kensit reminds me of Kylie, they could be twins!" @LeonardAllen8 said she looked "super sexy" and @RyanTheSoapking applauded: "Looking incredible on #TheOneShow tonight."

But another eagle-eyed viewer @janiom remarked "Patsy Kensit on The One Show tonight. Wait a minute!..." as they realised she was wearing the same dress as the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton when she visited the Guinness Storehouse’s Gravity Bar. The princess wore the £1,595.00 gown during a trip to Dublin in 2020.

Other fans are now worried what might happen to Lexi in the soap now that Emma has reappeared. @MarkAFC_predicted: "She gonna snatch Lexi." @Djgillers22 asked: "Do you think Lexi will start getting very attached to Emma?" But @BridgeStTroll said: "Patsy Kensit on The One Show was so lovely that I don’t wanna slag off Emma now!"
