Clubs remain cautiously optimistic about getting Friday's four Super League games staged following heavy snow across Northern England overnight. Tonight's games see Leeds Rhinos take on Wakefield Trinity, Hull KR host Warrington, Wolves, Huddersfield Giants versus Castleford Tigers and Leigh Leopards against St Helens.
Snow has resulted in a partial closure of the M62 while many areas are still under snow. That said, clubs remain hopeful that games will go ahead.
Hull KR's opponents, Warrington, face a 230-mile round trip today. They are set to leave at 11 AM to give themselves every chance possible of making the game in time. Meanwhile, Rovers will undergo checks throughout the morning to ensure Sewell Group Craven Park is playable underfoot and safe for spectators in the surrounding areas of the stadium.

The same applies to Huddersfield Giants, who have released an early statement regarding their game. They said: "With heavy snowfall overnight in Huddersfield, club and stadium officials are, as yet, unable to get to the ground. The forecast does brighten during the day and roads will no doubt improve. Further news of tonight's game will be given at midday."
Though Huddersfield has been one of the worst affected areas in the country by the snow, the main roads are largely clear at present.
One game that will certainly be on is the game between Leeds and Wakefield, with the Rhinos confirming the game will go ahead. Freezing temperatures have been forecast in Headingley throughout the day, though the sun is expected to come out in the afternoon. However, it is forecasted to be -3 degrees throughout the game between the Rhinos and Trinity.
