When the two of the three best scoring offenses in the NFL meet in the Super Bowl, like the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, points should be expected.
The only question for bettors was how many points would be scored, and whether that total would go over 50.5.
Well, very early on, as the teams combined for 38 points in the first half, it was very clear the under didn’t stand a chance. The teams eclipsed the betting total early in the fourth quarter, and there were some massive bets that cashed on the over.

One bettor even placed a live $1.2 million bet on the over once points were already on the board and the total was up to 62.5. That hit later in the fourth.

That was a huge risk, and it ended with a major payoff.
