NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad may have faced a setback in their recent clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, but they etched their name into the IPL record books with a remarkable feat.
Despite tasting only their third defeat this season, SRH achieved the milestone of hitting the most number of sixes in a single season for the franchise, reaching a century of maximums during their encounter with RCB at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Thursday.

The Hyderabad-based franchise has been setting the stage alight in the ongoing 17th season of the IPL, showcasing their batting prowess with a relentless display of power hitting.
Led by the explosive performances of Australian batsman Travis Head and his opening partner Abhishek Sharma, alongside the emergence of Heinrich Klaasen as a middle-order stalwart, SRH have been flattening rival attacks with their ferocious assaults.
This season, SRH reached the landmark of striking 100 sixes in just their eighth match, surpassing their previous best of 97 sixes in the 2022 season.
