Tuesday is expected to be a fairly mild day despite fears of Beast from the east 2.
Met Office has said Leeds will be in for a mostly mild day on Tuesday (February 13) despite warnings a polar vortex could hit the region this month. There will be some fog in the early morning but mostly sunshine from midday until sunset for most parts of the city.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Any early mist and fog clearing through the morning to a dry day with some sunshine. Feeling mild by the afternoon with light southerly winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C."

Leeds will start the day with fog from sunrise at 7.29am, the fog will clear in the early morning and Tuesday will turn into a sunny day from 9am until sunset at 5.13pm.
It will be a clear night on Tuesday into Wednesday morning.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Cloudier and breezier Wednesday, with rain moving eastwards during the afternoon. Thursday dull with light rain and drizzle. Windy overnight, then clearer and brighter Friday, perhaps with the odd shower.
