NEW DELHI: Batting legend cricketer Sunil Gavaskar feels young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has the potential to cement his place in the Test side during the upcoming five-match series against England at home.

Gavaskar expressed confidence that the 20-year-old batsman will be able to showcase his skills more effectively on the Indian pitches, which are expected to be more conducive to his style compared to the hard and bouncy tracks in South Africa.
