Sunil Chhetri, one of India's iconic footballers, retired from the sport earlier this year leaving behind a legacy that saw him stand next to legends like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo on the list of players with most international goals.
Appearing on a podcast that was published last month before the Paris Olympics started, Chhetri was asked a question on the lack of medals won by India in the Olympic Games, where the country has only two individual gold medallists besides the hockey team's 'golden' run betwen 1928 and 1980.
