Sunderland supporters vented their frustration after they suffered a shock defeat to Rotherham United on Tuesday evening.
Goals from Oliver Rathbone and Shane Ferguson ensured that Joe Gelhardt's first goal for the club was merely a consolation as the Black Cats lost 2-1 at the New York Stadium. Tony Mowbray's side would have moved up to fourth place with a win, yet the Millers upset the odds as they held on to claim all three points.
Leeds United loanee Gelhardt opened his account for Sunderland just after the hour mark, yet the 20-year-old will know he should have added more to his tally given the chances on offer.

The absence of top scorer Ross Stewart was sorely felt as the visitors only found the net with one of their 13 shots, five of which were on target. Mowbray's side also had 64 per cent possession but could not find a way to convert their dominance on the ball into something more tangible.
One of the main talking points from the game came in the dying stages when the referee blew for a foul on Rotherham goalkeeper Viktor Johansson in the 96th minute that controversially denied Sunderland a late equaliser.
The defeat ended an eight-match unbeaten run for Sunderland who will look to dust themselves down and go again when they come up against Coventry City on Saturday. As the full-time whistle blew, supporters took to social media to share their thoughts on what was ultimately a disappointing night for the Black Cats.
