Sunderland winger Patrick Roberts has been nominated for the Championship's Player of the Month award for September.
The former Man City and Celtic youngster enjoyed a good run in the side last month and his two goals in the 3-0 win over Reading, as well as an assist in the 2-2 draw at Watford, has seen him recognised among the Championship's elite.
Explaining his nomination, the EFL said: "His brilliance hasn’t always been paired with consistency, but Roberts made quite an impact in September. He cut inside to sweep home twice in Sunderland’s win at Reading and then provided a pinpoint cross for a late equaliser at Watford."

Roberts will be up against Sheffield United goalkeeper Wes Foderingham, Luton Town forward Carlton Morris and Norwich City star Teemu Pukki for the award.
The 25-year-old has endured a stop-start career after joining Man City from Fulham as a highly rated teenager back in 2015.
A successful loan move to Celtic was backed up by relatively unsuccessful stints with Girona, Norwich, Middlesbrough, Derby and Troyes, but he seems to have finally found a home at Sunderland where he can begin to realise his undoubted potential.
Roberts played a key role in Sunderland winning promotion from League One last term and has made a positive start to helping the Black Cats re-establish themselves in the second tier this season.
